Welcome to the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Website.  I hope this site will give you something of a feel for our faith community and what we are about.  If you live in our area, or are visiting, we would love to have you come by and see us.  You are always welcome here at Mt. Zion.

Ours is a community that values faith and belonging.  Many of our people come from other regions of the country, have been uprooted from family and friends, and seek a new beginning in a caring atmosphere with others who are anxious to join with them in mutual growth and meaningful living.  We also have folks who have been here for many years and are second and third generation members.  Our ages range the gambit.  And we have opportunities for all. 

We have a range of activities for children, youth, and adults.  We have mission work periodically that takes our people outside the walls of the church.  And of course we like to get together and eat and have fellowship.  We have Sunday School for all ages along with Bibles studies, both short and long term, and lecture series on subjects that are of current popular interest (one recent topic was identity theft, another arthritis and pain management).

The center of our life together is dynamic worship with exciting music from classical to contemporary and everything in between.
